damn vulnerable web application</dvwa>.
DVWA stands for "Damn Vulnerable Web Application" as said earlier and is a PHP/MySQL deliberately vulnerable web application used for learning and practicing web application security testing. It contains a range of common web vulnerabilities, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), file inclusion, command injection and other vulnerabilities we will be looking upto in this project.
DVWA is designed to be installed on a web server and accessed through a web browser. It provides a safe and legal environment for security testers to practice and develop their skills in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities. Users can adjust the security level of the application to match their experience and skill level. DVWA is widely used by security professionals, students, and enthusiasts as a tool for learning web application security testing in a safer environment, and it is often used in training courses and workshops.
